Subject:2012 Southeast Texas Police Memorial Ceremony

This year National Police Week is May 13-19.  Each year the Beaumont Police Department  host the Southeast Texas Police Memorial Ceremony the week before National Police week so the families of Fallen Officers and our Honor Guard can attend the memorial in Washington.

The ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 9 at 9:00am at 255 College in front of the station. The female statue will be unveiled and Fallen Officer Bryan Hebert's badge will be added to the memorial.

On Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 1:30pm, Mayor Becky Ames will issue a proclamation declaring May 13-19, 2012 as "National Police Week" and Tuesday, May 15, 2012 as "Peace Officers' Memorial Day" in Beaumont.
