Neighborhood Associations throughout the city of Beaumont assist citizens in expressing concerns they are having in their respective neighborhoods and a platform in which to promote change. The associations build a sense of unity among the residents, enhance the quality of life in neighborhoods, and help make them safer and more enriching places to live. Active neighborhood groups help increase the local residents' feelings of "Partnership" with those living around them and give the community a voice to speak to government officials, staff, and developers. Beaumont Neighborhood Associations provide a forum for neighbors to be informed about local events and to receive monthly crime statistics with regard to their own neighborhoods. The associations additionally keep neighbors informed about issues at the local, regional, state and federal levels that affect the neighborhood. It is a great place for the citizens of Beaumont to receive and share information.
