Lt. Ken Spitzer is the 1st Watch Commander. He has 24 years of Law Enforcement experience and holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate. He has worked as a Field Training Officer, Housing Officer, and SWAT Officer. Lt. Spitzer has also served in the Administration Division assigned to Training & Personnel, Property and Evidence, and Special Projects. Lt. Lt. Roger Richmond is the 2nd Watch Commander.  Lieutenant Richmond is the Second Watch Commander. He has been with the Beaumont Police Department for twenty four years, holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, and is currently the commander of the Special Response Team. Richmond has worked as a detective in Criminal Investigations, as a detective in the Narcotics Unit, and as a member of the Beaumont Police Department's SWAT team.
