Lt.
Bryan Skinner is the
1st
Watch
Patrol Commander.
He is a 19-year vetera n with experience in all divisions
to include Patrol, Criminal Investigations, and
Administration.
He is a licensed polygraph examiner and an
accomplished interrogator. Lt. Skinner has earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Pre-Law
from our local Lamar
University and a Master of Science Degree in Police
Management from Sam
Houston
State
University.

Lt. Ray Beck is the Watch Commander of 2nd
Watch. Lt Beck has been with the Department for 35
years. He is a graduate of Lamar University and holds a
Masters Peace Officer Certification. He has two
children, and is an avid fisherman. Lt. Beck can be

Lt.
Ken Spitzer is the 3rd Watch Commander. He has 23 years
of Law Enforcement experience, 20 of those with the
Beaumont Police Department. He holds a Master Peace
Officer Certificate and has worked as a Field Training
Officer, Housing Officer, and SWAT Officer. Lt. Spitzer
has served in the Administration Division assigned to
Personnel, Property and Evidence, and Special Projects.
He has served as 3rd Watch Commander in the Patrol

Lt.
Chris Schuldt is the 4th Watch
Commander. Lt. Schuldt has been with the
Department for 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Applied
Arts and Sciences from Lamar University and teaches
defensive tactics regularly at the Lamar Institute of
Technology Regional Police Academy. He was promoted to
lieutenant in 2006 and has served as a Watch Commander
since. Lt. Schuldt is the son of former police chief
